How to make a successful campaign for social media!

To be successful on social media you need to ~stand out~ from everyone else. In other words, you need to be different, or provide them with content that they can’t get anywhere else. But, at the same time you need to be relatable, so they feel as though they are forming a relationship/friendship with you. That is what makes a good business campaign stand out from the bad. So, how in the world are they supposed to be different but relatable at the same time when producing a campaign!? I’ll tell you!

There is a reason that the campaign “Plum Organics: Parenting Unfiltered” won an award for best short campaign. The reason being it was different. Different in the sense that it showed that raw and unfiltered truth that parenting is not easy. Which is different from other companies as they try and portray everything that has to deal with parenting to be “effortless”. They even state in their campaign “If it feels like parenting isn’t always perfect. You’re doing it right.” And this also helps give them a sense of being relatable to those viewing it, as they too have endured the sleepless nights and reoccurring meltdowns from their own children. This can help their businesses success as people tend to be more likely to buy products from companies that they feel as though they relate to and can trust.

So to have a successful career in social media there are a few things you need to ensure you are doing at all times. First, is being consistent. By being consistent your followers will build that trust and relationship with you. Next, is proving them a service, they can’t receive elsewhere. And lastly, always make sure you are engaging and interacting with your followers. This will allow them to know their opinions are important and they are being recognized.
